1. 현재 내 내면과 내 가정에는 ‘하나님의 말씀과 이상(vision or revelation)’이 충분하게 흘러 들어오고 있습니까? 아니면 사사 시대처럼 말씀과 이상이 흔히 보이지 않는 것은 아닌가요? 나와 내 가정의 영적 상태를 진단해봅시다. Is the Word of God and His vision (revelation) flowing sufficiently into my inner self and my home today? Or are they “rare,” as they were in the time of the Judges? Let us diagnose the spiritual state of ourselves and our families.
2. “아이 사무엘이 엘리 앞에서 여호와를 섬겼다”는 표현의 의미를 다시 복습해봅시다. 내게 주어진 어려운 환경 속에서 나는 환경을 더 바라보고 있습니까? 아니면 환경보다 크신 하나님을 바라보며 섬기고 있습니까? Let’s review the meaning of the phrase, “The boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli.” In the midst of difficult circumstances, am I focusing more on my environment, or am I serving God, who is greater than any environment?
3. 성소 안에서 꺼지지 않는 등불이 어떤 의미인지 복습해 봅시다. 나의 영혼도 사무엘처럼 시간을 구별하여 꺼지지 않는 하나님의 등불 앞에 거하고 있습니까? Let’s reflect on the significance of the lamp of God that never goes out in the sanctuary. Like Samuel, am I setting aside dedicated time to dwell before the unquenchable light of God?
4. 등불을 바라보며 성장한 사무엘이 성인이 된 후에, 그를 통해 하나님의 말씀이 다시 이스라엘로 흘러 들어가기 시작했습니다. 나를 통해 하나님께서 어떤 일들을 다시 이루시기를 소망하는지 나누고 서로를 위해 함께 기도합시다. After growing up watching the lamp of God, the Word of the Lord began to flow back into Israel through the adult Samuel. Let’s share what works we hope God will accomplish through us and pray for one another.
