1. 바울이 디모데를 처음 만났던 상황을 다시 복습해 봅시다. 디모데는 어떻게 예수를 믿게 되었습니까? Let’s review the situation where Paul first met Timothy. How did Timothy come to believe in Jesus?
2. 스데반이 돌에 맞아 순교한 현장을 바울이 보았고, 바울이 돌에 맞아 죽을 뻔한 현장을 디모데가 보았습니다. 나는 주변 사람들에게 어떤 믿음을 보여주고 있습니까? Paul witnessed the scene where Stephen was stoned to death, and Timothy witnessed the scene where Paul was almost stoned to death. What kind of faith am I demonstrating to the people around me?
3. 디모데는 어머니와 외할머니에게 ‘거짓 없는 믿음’을 유산으로 받아서 그 역시 ‘거짓 없는 믿음’으로 살았습니다. 나는 우리 부모에게 어떤 자녀인지, 혹은 우리 자녀에게 어떤 부모인지 생각해 봅시다. Timothy inherited a “sincere faith” from his mother and grandmother, and he lived by that same “sincere faith.” Let us reflect on what kind of child we are to our parents, or what kind of parent we are to our children.
4. 성경은 여성의 믿음을 통해 놀라운 일을 이루시는 하나님을 선명하게 보여주고 있습니다. 앞으로 남은 삶을 어떤 딸이자 어머니이자 아내로 살고 싶은지 나눠봅시다. The Bible clearly shows God accomplishing amazing things through the faith of women. Let’s share how you want to live the rest of your life as a daughter, a mother, and a wife.
