God Sees Differently
- 적용 및 나눔 질문 –
1. 사데교회의 겉사람은 ‘살아 있는 교회’라는 명성(reputation)을 입고 있었지만, 주님이 보시는 속사람은 이미 죽어 있는 상태였습니다. 사람들이 보는 나의 겉모습과 내 자신만 알고 있는 나의 속사람은 얼마나 다른지 생각해봅시다. Although the outer self of the Church in Sardis wore the reputation of being a ‘living church,’ their inner self in the eyes of the Lord was already dead. Let us reflect on how different our outward appearance seen by others is from our inner self that only we know.
2. 서머나교회의 겉사람은 환난과 궁핍에 시달리고 있었지만, 주님이 보시는 속사람은 ‘부요한 자’였습니다. 인생의 여러 어려움 속에서도 하나님으로부터 오는 부요함을 경험한 간증이 있다면 나눠봅시다. The outer self of the Church in Smyrna suffered from tribulation and poverty, yet their inner self in the eyes of the Lord was ‘rich.’ If you have a testimony of experiencing the richness that comes from God amidst life’s various hardships, please share it.
3. 성경은 내가 내리는 진단과 하나님의 진단은 전혀 다르다는 것을 반복해서 알려주고 있습니다. 나는 내 지나온 인생과 현재의 모습을 바라보며 어떻게 진단하고 있습니까? 하나님은 나를 바라보시면서 어떤 진단을 내리실까요? The Bible repeatedly reminds us that our own self-assessment is completely different from God’s assessment. How do you assess your past life and your current self? What kind of assessment would God make as He looks at you?
4. 산 것 같으나 죽은 자’인 사데교회를 향해 주님은 “깨어있으라!”고 명령하십니다. 내 영혼이 깨어있기 위해 내가 구체적으로 할 수 있는 작은 것은 무엇일지 생각해봅시다. 그리고 순종하여 실천합시다. To the Church in Sardis, which ‘seemed alive but was dead,’ the Lord commands, “Wake up!” Let us think about one small, concrete action we can take to keep our souls awake, and let us practice it in obedience.
