A Second Birthday
1. 침례의 의미는 기독교 신앙에 있어서 가장 중요한 내용 중의 하나입니다. 이스라엘 백성의 출애굽과 침례를 연결하여 그 의미를 다시 복습해봅시다.
The meaning of baptism is one of the most important concepts in the Christian faith. Let us review its meaning by connecting the Exodus of the Israelites with baptism.
2. 이스라엘 백성이 출애굽하여 홍해를 건넌 날은 그들의 신분과 존재의 출발점, 그들의 정체성과 삶의 이유가 새롭게 태어난 날이라고 했습니다. 나는 내 인생과 내 존재를 어떻게 바라보고 있는지 생각해 봅시다.
The day the Israelites left Egypt and crossed the Red Sea was the day their status, existence, identity, and purpose in life were reborn. Let us reflect on how I view my own life and existence.
3. 이스라엘 백성은 홍해에서 침례는 받았지만, 여전히 애굽 노예의 가치관과 인격, 습관을 버리지 못했습니다. 나의 삶에 있어서 여전히 버리지 못하고 있는 애굽의 가치관, 죄의 습관과 우상이 있다면 무엇인지 나눠 봅시다.
Although the Israelites were baptized in the Red Sea, they still could not let go of their values, character, and habits from their time as slaves in Egypt. Let us share what worldly values, sinful habits, or idols from “Egypt” we still fail to abandon in our own lives.
4. 하나님은 광야에서 여러 시험들을 통해 이스라엘을 훈련시키고 성숙시켜 가셨습니다. 하나님은 내 인생에서 어떤 사건과 과정들을 통해 나를 훈련시키고 계십니까?
God trained and matured the Israelites through various trials in the wilderness. Through what events and processes is God training me in my own life?
